Daniela grew up in Chile and moved to the U.S. at the age of 17. Her career has spanned exploration geology, ski coaching, yoga instructing, and elementary school teaching. She earned her MEd in Bilingual Education from BSU and hopes to use her bilingual skills to reach a larger audience in the Wood River Valley and beyond.

Daniela’s personal contemplative practice includes more time in nature than sitting on a cushion. She believes in the interconnectedness of all living beings and the healing power of our natural environment. She loves teaching mindfulness in and out of the classroom, as well as promoting stewardship of the land and environment through cultivating connections with nature.
